Welcome to Baskets by Susan.
All baskets seen here are handwoven by me, Susan. Most of the baskets shown are my own creations. Some baskets are from other people's patterns or from alterations to other people's patterns.

Most baskets are available with different colored accent strips and stains. Please see the ordering page for color and stain choices. All baskets shown can be changed in size and design. Custom orders are gladly filled when possible (time permitting) and encouraged as these can be the most challenging and rewarding baskets to weave.

Special thanks to my traveling buddy, Mom, who accompanies me around the Eastern US participating in various conventions, shows and events.

Weave 'n Schnitte Baskets by Susan has teamed up with Scherenschnittes by Babs to show our work at various events throughout New York State. This cutting on the left is a papercutting done by Scherenschnittes by Babs. Cuttings are made by tiny scissors and knives on black linen paper and mounted on a white background. This "Basket Weaver" 8"x10" cutting sells for $24 unframed.
