Welcome to Baskets by Susan.
All baskets seen here are handwoven by me, Susan. I have been weaving for many years now and have presented and showed at festivals, craft and artesian shows all around the Northeast. Mom and I have been to weaving conventions in Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont. (Vermont is gorgeous and the basket convention is fabulous. We'll get back there someday hopefully!) Due to the demands of life's other happenings, I have temporarily given up weaving for shows and web orders. Thank you to all my customers across the world for your interest, kind words and orders over the years. I will continue to weave in my spare time and make special baskets for friends and families.

Weave 'n Schnitte Baskets by Susan teamed up with Scherenschnittes by Babs to show our work at various events throughout New York State. This cutting on the left is a papercutting done by Scherenschnittes by Babs. Cuttings are made by tiny scissors and knives on black linen paper and mounted on a white background. Schnittes are still available for sale and many can be viewed on the schnittes link to the left.
